Arbor Vision Software is the developer of Canopy(R), a web-based (ASP) tree inventory management application, Canopy(R) Contractor, a web-based (ASP) for Customer, Asset, and Work FLow Managemnet for the commercial contractors, and Data Works for Canopy(TM), a companion product for field and GPS data collection. The company's products combine the "anywhere access" of a web-based SQL data base and the easy to use hand held field collection capabilities of Data Works. The applications manage all aspects of urban tree management from work flow management to budgeting and planning. While Data Works will operate on any Windows Mobile 5.0 or Windows CE and CX device, it was specifically designed to operate with Magellan's Mobile Mapper CX to bring affordable sub-meter accuracy to mapping urban trees. Arbor Vision plans to incorporate field collection modules for all urban infrastructure assets to provide a total solution for municipalities and other government agencies. The company also has plans to build applications for working in a GIS enviroment for mapping trees, natural resouces, and other asset management.
